Finally Friday (Nov 14, 2025) - Week 3
Week 3 babbyyy! Here are the 4 things that kept me moving this week. Throat spray (pause), hands free recording, lessons from the richest man in Babylon, and the reason I'm drinking a lot more water. Consider this my way of sharing...
Bee Keeper's Natural Propolis Throat Spray
What it is: Bee propolis in a spray bottle. Trust me you aren't alone, I've never heard of this stuff before either. Works almost immediately.
Why it matters: Woke up this morning with that scratchy throat... you know the one. A few months ago, I had a cold that felt like I swallowed glass. Did what any sane person does, I jumped on TikTok. Everyone mention similar symptoms, then showed this yellow bottle of Propolis. Grabbed it and it worked then.
So I grabbed it again this morning. You guessed it, it still works. I had some hot tea with it, but I'm going to credit this propolis stuff. I'm not trying to lose momentum because I ignored early signs, and then get really sick later. Your body tells you things. You should listen to it.
Where to get it:/ Amazon, or your local Target usually has it.
TELESIN Magnetic Neck Mount for Phones
What it is: It's a magnetic phone mount that goes around your neck. Helps with that hands free content look.
Why it matters: I've been wanting to shoot more workout and IT training content. This mount allows me to do it without setting up a tripod, we've all see that person in the gym. And this removes one more excuse. Now I just have to show up and press record. That's the thinking behind most of my purchases, make it easier for myself to do the small task.

The Richest Man in Babylon
What it is: It's a book about wealth that you will hear many people talk about. It's set in ancient Babylon, using parables throughout to make the point. It's common sense, but done so in a simple way.
Why it matters: Because it's not complicated. Helped me revisit some things that will help in my personal life. Like pay yourself first, the first 10% before you pay anyone else. Live below your means, it doesn't matter how much money you've made when you spend it all. A lesson I needed a reminder on. Seek wisdom before gold. I love that principle. Learn from people who have what you want, not those just sitting around talking about it.
I've been looking at this while trying to unf*ck my finances, it's wild how these ancient principles timelessly stay relevant today. We don't need complex spreadsheets we need discipline. Consistently applying the principles we know are weak spots for us. Check it out, it's a fairly quick read.

Why I've been guzzling water
What it is: Good ol H2O. More of it. Consistently.
Why it matters: My favorite uncle, Larry Hayes, died at 42 from a heart attack when I was growing up. Some other complications played into it, but that number 42 stuck with me as a kid. I fixated on it. Scared the hell out of me. Back when I was a kid 42 felt ancient. As I got older and each year went by the idea that you could just... stop. And now I'm saying that young. It's scary.
This week I've been dehydrated. Dry mouth. Because I've been obsessed with the idea of heart attacks, I remembered that most heart attacks are linked to dehydration. Your blood thickens. Your heart works harder. Small things compound into big things.
I'm a big dude, 6'3 about 300lbs. I'm working on that number as we speak. I'm not trying to experience a similar fate. So... I'm drinking more water. Sounds simple, almost stupid to write about. But it matters. The small disciplines matter. And I feel like thought get passed to you for you to act on them. Drinking more water feels so minor, but that's all the reason more I should be doing it. Those small somewhat meaningless habits are the ones that seem to save our lives. So...I'm drinking more water.
Where to get it: I've been drinking this Vapor distilled water from Kroger. At this point it doesn't matter just drink more water.
Another week down. And I can't wait for next week to see what else we discover.
Any interesting things come by you this week?
Shoot me a DM and tell me about it.
See you next Friday.
